A portion of BATS athletic testing will be standard at NFCA Administered camps. ALL administered camp athletes will be tested in the following categories: Agility, Speed, Throwing Velocity and Grip Strength. The remainder of the BATS battery of tests will be administered on camp day for those opting to purchase a comprehensive BATS Report. The BATS Report is a detailed evaluation of ALL test results, as compared to a national database of like-aged players. A comprehensive BATS Score will be provided, which allows the player to see how they “stack-up” against the national competition. The full BATS Report can also be used by BATS personnel to develop a personalized strength and conditioning program designed for improved softball performance.

The BATS Scorecard includes tests for Body Composition, Grip Strength, Leg and Rotary Power, Agility, Speed, Throwing Velocity, Bat Speed, and Batted-Ball Velocity. Athletes will record their best performance of a given number of trials on each test.
